The CSSF is a public law entity that monitors professionals and products in the Luxembourg financial sector. It is also responsible for promoting transparency, simplicity and fairness on the markets for financial products and services and oversees the application of financial consumer protection law as well as the law on the combatting of money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
